Cultural Insight: Latino culture isn’t a niche within American culture, it’s one of the forces actively shaping it.
As the Hispanic population continues to shape American culture, Miller Lite saw an opportunity to connect more authentically with Latino consumers while reinforcing the brand’s place within a more diverse America. To do this, we partnered with global music icon J Balvin, whose cultural influence bridges Latin and mainstream audiences.
“Es José Time” reimagined the Miller Lite experience through Balvin’s vibrant visual identity, redesigning the iconic can in a bold, unmistakably J Balvin style. The campaign celebrated Latino culture while reinforcing Miller Lite’s message of inclusivity, showing that the brand isn’t just part of American beer culture, but part of a broader, more multicultural definition of it.
